Data controller

The controller of data collected on ease-see.com is BT Services SAS, whose registered office is given in the legal notice.
For any question about your data, please write to us by post at our registered office.

In short

• The site asks you for no personal data: no account, no form, no payment.
• It places no cookies on your device.
• We measure visits anonymously, without keeping your IP address.
• We do not sell or share any data, and use none for advertising.

Audience measurement

We measure use of the site with our own tool, hosted on our server, to learn which pages and activities interest our visitors and to improve the site.
What is recorded for each page view or click on an activity: the page, the previous page, the date and local time, the site language and the browser language, the country, the type of device, an approximate screen size, dark or light mode, the connection type and an approximate loading time.

• IP address: used only at the moment of the visit to work out the country, from a table stored on our server. It is never kept.
• Journey: a random identifier links the pages viewed during one visit. It is kept in your browser's session storage and disappears when the tab is closed. It cannot recognise you from one visit to the next.
• No cross-referencing: no data is combined with other sources or passed to any third party.
• Retention period: 25 months at most.

This measurement is based on our legitimate interest and meets the conditions set by the CNIL (the French data protection authority) for exemption from consent.

Refusing audience measurement

You can ask at any time for your visits no longer to be counted: stop counting my visits.
The choice is stored in your browser and applies to that browser, on that device. If you clear your browser data, you need to do it again. To undo it: count my visits again.

Cookies

The site places no cookies for its visitors, and no other advertising or cross-site tracking technology. It only uses your browser's storage for:

• the journey identifier of the audience measurement, cleared when the tab is closed;
• the fact that you have already seen the warning shown on translations of the legal pages, cleared when the tab is closed;
• if you have refused audience measurement, that refusal, kept so it is respected on later visits.

A technical cookie is used in the administration area, which is reserved for our staff; it is never placed for visitors.

Technical logs

Like any host, our host Hostinger records technical logs (including the IP address) needed for the security and proper operation of the server. They are kept in line with Hostinger's privacy policy.

Bookings and letters

When you book, you are taken to the activity's booking page, which has its own privacy policy.
If you write to us, we use your contact details only to reply to you. We keep them while your request is dealt with, then for 3 years at most.

Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to our authorised staff and to our host, Hostinger International Ltd (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus), as part of its service.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the data that concerns you, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, write to us by post at our registered office. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
In practice:

• Letters you send us: we can find them, give you their content and destroy them on request.
• Audience measurement: it keeps no IP address, no cookie and no lasting identifier. We therefore cannot find the data of any particular visit, nor give you a copy of it or delete it (Article 11 GDPR). You can, however, refuse any future measurement, as explained above.
• The host's technical logs: these contain the IP address for a limited time. If you give us your IP address and the time of your visit, we will pass your request on to our host.

Changes

This policy may change, in particular when online booking becomes available on the site. Its date of last update is shown at the top of the page.
